The newest blood center facility located on the east shore of Lake Osborne in Lantana on Hypoluxo Road will be ready for occupancy in February, 2005. The 20,000 square foot two story building will house recruitment, collection, component production and hospital services functions on its first floor. The second floor is slated for completion in 2005 or 2006 as the need for additional space arises.

CBCSF supplies 2/3's of the blood products used in Palm Beach County and currently draws 30,000 donations annually north of the Palm Beach/Broward County line. Palm Beach is the fastest growing county in terms of donor collections served by the blood center and this is not expected to change in the near future.

Hospitals served by the blood center include Boca Raton Community Hospital, Boca West Medical Center, Delray Medical Center, St. Mary's Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
